We are creating a protocol that will allow any user to protect the underlying value of their crypto asset against all kinds of volatility levels. We call it “God-Mode for Crypto”! The scope of the protocol will reach all corners of the user landscape, from retail to degens to institutions. Already, the simulations are proving radically cheaper and more efficient than traditional options instruments.

Role Overview

Bumper is looking for a Community Moderator to oversee and help build an engaging and supportive community for our price protection protocol.

You will be working closely with our Community Lead and will be responsible for the support of users in answering their queries, processing support requests, engaging with users to promote healthy discussion and communication between members of our tight knit community.

Tasks:

• Moderate our Discord community group during a shift of your choosing between two options - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM UTC or 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM UTC (+/- 2 hours subject to discussion). This will be full time work Monday to Sunday.
• Respond to community concerns and questions promptly (within 30 minutes) with more emphasis on driving engagement and interaction from community members
• Inform on topics interested by the community, problems they often encounter using our FAQs documents to assist with your answers
• Contribute to positive discussion about the project and keep the peace among members
• Clear spam, keep our community clean, healthy, engaged
• Help push out content provided when needed on Discord/Telegram
• Work with a team of fellow community moderators and report to Community Lead
• Process support queries into appropriate channels
• Share with community members materials sent into private Community Moderators internal chat
• Provide reports at the beginning of each shift signalling the beginning of the shift, as well as at the end of the shift with a brief overview of completed activity
• Assist Community Lead with community development initiatives, including but not limited to weekly discussions, gamified interaction, contests, and activity incentives

You’ll have: 

• Strong knowledge of Community Moderation skills with particular emphasis on Discord community moderation principles
• Proven prior experience in the FinTech/Crypto/DeFi space
• Excellent English communication skills (with additional plus if able to communicate in one or more additional languages for future community development)
• High level of personal effectiveness and responsibility

‍Key relationships / stakeholders

You will report to the Community Lead. You may also be in regular contact with other team members such as our Chief Marketing Officer and a team of other Community Moderators to help with and coordinate the scope of work.
