During our last sitrep, we mentioned that we were halfway through our Falkor Alpha testing stage. This phase was conducted by the Bumper team, plus a handful of friends and family members who were familiar with the protocol.
What was interesting was that all Alpha testers were asked to behave normally, as if they were using Bumper for real. What we discovered was a lot of (friendly) rivalry took place between the different sides of Makers and Takers.
This phase now wrapped up successfully, and our engineering team has been working hard to classify and fix the bugs and errors which we discovered during this phase. And this leads us nicely onto…
We know many of you have been waiting patiently for us to announce when YOU, our community members would be able to take part and help us test the dApp, and we’re pleased to have released our Beta Tester application this week.
Regardless of your experience in crypto, we’d love you to come and be part of test-driving the Bumper protocol on our private network, and earn some totally wicked BUMP rewards for participating.
Will you be a Maker, earning yield on your stablecoins, or a Taker, protecting your crypto from volatility? The choice is yours, and you get to play without any risk to yourself (as we are using synthetic test tokens rather than real crypto).

If you’re active in our Discord, you’ll already have noticed that there’s been a change of guard recently, with Khareezy and CeramicCrypto joining us as our new full time mods.
Khareezy describes herself as a “crypto enthusiast who loves Pizza” and her favourite 80’s film is the epic Clash of the Titans.
CeramicCrypto goes one step further, referring to herself as a “Crypto and DeFi Fanatic”, and apparently her pick for top eighties movie is Hansel and Gretel. Which isn’t remotely weird.
The ladies are working alongside the ever-present AK_Defi, (who it appears doesn’t need much sleep, but apparently dreams of Crypto Sheep when he actually does finally doze off).
We’re pleased to welcome our new Mods to the Bumper fam, and it seems they’ve already made themselves well at home.

If you tuned in, you’d be forgiven for thinking our CMO Jason had recently undergone a bit of a makeover, but actually he was on a well-earned family vacation, and so this episode’s button presser and lead presenter was none other than Navigator, who it happens is a bit of a natural in front of the camera.
For those who are interested, it turns out Navigator used to have a bit of a crush on David Bowie, and it’ll be no surprise her favourite 80’s era film was, of course, Labyrinth.
